New Janoski's including the long awaited 'Takashi'
Posted on April 11, 2012 by Robbi
---
I've been a fan of this colourway since the P-Rod 2 from a few years ago and this one is no exception. The OG sample had a suede side panel but Nike have definitely switched up in the best way with the edition of the premium leather panel instead. Couple this with the Gold round lace that Nike crept back in (instead of the flat lace) and this shoe is a banger for the summer. We have sizes ranging from a UK5.5 all the way up to a UK12 on this, so don't sleep! Instore and online now! (£60)
---

Next up we have this canvas mid. I wasn't a fan of the Tri piping on the sole when I originally seen it, but now I am all about this shoe. The black being canvas definitely sets this shoe off, limited numbers on this though. I could also see a lot of peeps rocking this 'Cut Down'. This ones an Instore Only though so peep the photos and then give us a ring to reserve a pair. (£62)

The Foundation - Mixed by DJ Act Like You Know
Posted on March 21, 2012 by Mackey
Thanks to pipomixes for bringing this mix to our attention.Highly recommended listening, just peep the tracklist..

This mix is all about education. What you have in this mix are some of my favorite hip-hop records (well, Alicia Keys isn't really hip-hop, but whatever, Kanye did his thing on that track) paired back-to-back with their original samples. Uncovering original samples and mixing them with their hip-hop counterparts is something I've been obsessed with for a while. This is what I originally intended to do on my radio show on WNYU, but I ended up just playing strictly original jazz, funk, and soul tracks that have been sampled over the years. Some of these joints you'll probably recognize, and some you may not. But, at the end of the day, hopefully, it will open your eyes on how some of the illest producers in the game can re-create and flip great, and sometimes mediocre tracks, into some amazing and timeless hip-hop. Enjoy.

Posted on December 15, 2011 by Robbi

BTS Radio come correct again with this fucking dope mix from the Legend that is Mr.Walt (one half of production hypemen, Da Beatminerz).
"Da Beatminerz (brothers, Mr. Walt and Evil Dee) are hip-hop legends. Responsible for two of the genre’s most essential and beloved albums in Black Moon’s Enta Da Stage (‘93) and Smif-N-Wessun’s Dah Shinin (‘95). Classic tracks like, “Bucktown”, “Who Got Da Props?” and “I Got Cha Open” have not only defined their work, but helped define an era of hip-hop and the New York sound from the ‘90s."

Check the Rhime of these Nike SB excursions into hype history
Posted on August 22, 2011 by Robbi
Now I know what you are saying, with a title like this then surely this scenario has got to end in a lot of you guys bugging out?
"Who got the Jazz?" I hear you say, well, Jazz we've got!
"what?" you exclaim.
I ain't no rap promoter, nor do I have vast knowledge of Hip Hop, but I do have a slight grasp of this genre in show business. So let me put the butter on your bread along with this fresh as fuck shoe and a nice slice of verses from the abstract in the form of one of the dopest remixed tapes I have heard in a while.
Now I don't mean to be rude, but that sound is going to be a classic example of a date rape. So you best hit up all your friends on their skypager's and let them know that everything is fair when you're living in the city, the city that brings you the freshest Nike SB goodness, not forgetting the vibes and stuff.
